Discipleship in the End Times
In His last word before His ascension Jesus commanded His disciples to go into all the world and make disciples of all people. This Great Commisson applies to us as well. Discipleship is the basis and the goal of the Thress Angels Messages of Revelation 14. Discipleship in the End Times is an Adventist discipleship course that teaches discipleship in the context of the Adventist message. The goal of this discipleship program is to teach how we can follow Jesus in our every day life and to train to make disciples of others. This discipleship course has become the basis of all that we teach at the Josiah Mission School, a training school for evangelism run by the Baden-Wurttemberg Conference of SDA.
The lessons on discipleship can be used in different ways:
- For personal study
- For discipleship groups
- For special sabbath school groups on discipleship
It is best to study these topics first personally but then together with others in a discipleship group. The discipleship course is divided into three modules, each with 15 lessons.
- The lessons of module 1 (Jesus, My Life) are about the basics of the gospel and salvation though Jesus Christ.
- The main focus of module 2 (Ahead With Jesus) is about growing in faith.
- And module 3 (My Life for Jesus) focuses on outreach training.
These topics help newly baptized members, and every church member to learn and to experience the basics of being a disciple of Jesus. Everyone, who passes through this training, learns how to make disciples of other people.
Right now we are working on translating this discipleship programm from German to English. Our goal is to have this done by the end of the year. Here you can download the topics that are already available in English. We will upload further topics as soon as they are available in English.
